To the bright star in any of you, to your heart, to who you really are, to the pure light shining out of you, to Noni the best salesman I know.
How would you like to get rid of poverty? The poverty of lack of options, the poverty of fear, of the obvious, the easy way? What if you listen your heart? Where would that lead you? What would you discover? Would that be of any value for you?
I know a guy. We used to team together in our sales efforts for a corporation. He hates to do it the obvious way, the easy way, the risk free way, the safe way. He’s got the greatest capacity of focus, he’s persuasive, he can convince a stone that she’s a diamond. He treats sales as it would be a game. He does it with his heart in the most unconventional way. Speaking of results he almost always delivers results.
What would have been the easy obvious way? To stay into the corporation and be a model of a great employee. Everyone respected him on the market as a fierce fair competitor. That is the common, obvious, convenient way…
What is your common, obvious, convenient way?
I once asked him, what does your heart really, really want? I want to build a company for my own and be the conductor and player into an orchestra in which every instrument is heard very distinctive, in each every team member is left to shine.
Now, in less than one year, he built that company and made more money than the whole amount he was paid in all the years he was employed at the corporation. What I want to point out here is not the whole money he made, but achieving his potential by listening to his heart and building against the obvious, common, convenient way.
We have met some time ago and he proposed me to join him make some real money. I listened my heart and told him, well my heart is telling me to go the opposite approach and continue with my coaching work to help others make turn their visions into reality. When you reject the easy. common, convenient way obvious way you attract what it is for you to grow and reconnect with your life purpose.
Ethics of coaching state that it is right to ask permission to disclose client information. I do that even with people which are not clients. When asking Noni permission to disclose our conversation when I came to the rejection part, he asked me to still consider his proposal. As you can see Noni’s, sharp focus on his precise outcome is another mandatory thing to reach where you want. He still wanted me to be part of his shining orchestra of professionals. How do you think he managed to reach target by target? Putting continuous effort on what he wanted to do. Enjoying what he does.
Listening to your heart ensures you enjoy what you do. What does your Saboteur say? Now shift your body position. Just stand up, pull your shoulders, smile and listed to your heart. What do you really want?
Can you see how can you really make the difference?
To help you reconnect with your heart any time you want to ask her, what do you want, it helps that you know what is your life purpose. You can have your life purpose by checking with your coach. You do not have a coach yet? Check with me… :)
